Welcome to Bender UK

BENDER UK is part of the global German owned BENDER Group.

With over 60 years experience and 500 employees worldwide Bender is a long established and trusted leader in the field of electrical safety.

The company specialises in the design and manufacture of highly sensitive insulation monitoring devices and on-line earth fault location systems, designed to detect and locate developing earth faults on essential electrical systems and equipment to enable repairs to be carried out prior to system failure.

Continuous investment in Research and Development has always been central to the company ethos and ensures BENDER remains at the forefront of innovation in this specialist product area.

The benefits of the early warning system provided by our equipment have been recognised across a wide range of industries that rely on Bender for a safe and secure power supply.

For example, in the healthcare sector, we design, manufacture and commission complete monitored power systems for operating theatres and other critical areas. This ensures security of supply to vital life support equipment and improves patient protection against micro-shock.

In recognition of our technical knowledge and expertise in the medical field, BENDER UK were recently involved as specialist consultants to the NHS in the formulation of the new HTM electrical standard.

In the rail industry, BENDER devices are used to monitor highly critical signal power systems having achieved formal approval via Network Rail

Further testament to the quality and reliability of our products, and the technical support and expertise offered by our engineers, is evident in our contracts with the British Navy. Monitoring devices supplied and maintained by Bender UK are installed on the LPH, LPD, T42, AO and also in the latest Astute class nuclear submarines and type 45 destroyers.

Other industries that depend on our engineering support and equipment are petrochemicals, sub-sea robotics and generator manufacturing.
