Technical Service Co-ordinator

Due to continued business growth and an increasing number of hospital service assets on contract, we have created a new role within our service team.

The role will involve working with customers in the medical sector in leading NHS Trusts and private hospitals.  Over 500 Hospitals in the UK and the Republic of Ireland have Bender technology installed, with 400 service contracts in place to support and maintain this equipment on an annual basis.

Role & responsibilities:

  • Liaising with the service team and customers to support client technical issues
  • Working with internal and sub-contract engineers
  • Generating quotations for technical works
  • Supporting the delivery of technical remedial activity
  • Supporting the service team with relevant technical matters


The role is based within our service team consisting of service and commercial coordinators. You should have excellent customer service skills, be capable of working with hospital engineers, sub-contractors and Bender personnel. This role might suit someone with prior knowledge of working with hospitals, theatre equipment, power such as UPS or other clinical technologies.  Training will also be provided.


You will have an eye for detail, technical orientation, have good customer service skills, be self-motivated, have excellent time management skills and be prepared to work in a team. The work involves the use of Salesforce CRM, pricing spreadsheets and internal/external costs so strong IT skills are required.

A clean driving licence and company car insurance eligibility is required as some occasional travel by car and/or train may be necessary.

Remuneration includes a competitive salary, private health, contributory pension plus additional bonus entitlements. A laptop will be provided.

This is an office-based role. Working hours 8am - 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am - 2pm Friday (with some flexible working arrangements).  Based at our new purpose-built headquarters at Low Mill Business Park, Ulverston.
