Bender UK has announced two major successes in national healthcare awards this year.
In October, the company was announced as highly commended in the category of Healthcare Supplier of the Year at the Healthcare Estates IHEEM Awards in Manchester, where the company was recognised alongside the winner CBRE Health Business - a client of Bender UK in the provision of hospital critical power maintenance services. Bender UK was recognised for this prestigious award due to its capabilities in helping hospital teams deliver safe and more efficient patient care, though the provision of its power and clinical solutions for critical care areas.
In addition, Bender UK won the Building Better Healthcare Awards 2025 for the Best Interior Building Product with a nomination for the COMTRAXX® CP9 Glass Theatre Control Panel at a ceremony held in London in November. The COMTRAXX® CP9 Glass Theatre Control Panel is widely used in hospitals throughout the UK and Ireland, with hundreds of systems installed, since the unique two-part theatre panel solution was launched by the UK team. The product is based on German technology, but has a separate, intelligent back box, meaning maintenance can be conducted either remotely, or during working hours, due to its location outside of the operating room, offering significant savings in time and cost of maintenance and shutdown across NHS and private medical group hospitals.
