Stay at the forefront of technological advancements with Bender UK’s new CPD-accredited training course for eMobility professionals

Applications Engineer Lawrence Pullin, delivering the eMobility CPD accredited presentation.

Bender UK has launched a new CPD-accredited training course to support design engineers working across the rapidly evolving eMobility sector. The course aims to equip participants with the technical knowledge and practical insights needed to navigate the complexities of modern electric vehicle charging infrastructure, ensuring they remain at the forefront of industry developments.

The course explores the distinctions between AC and DC charge stations, highlighting each type's unique requirements and considerations. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of how an AC charging session operates, including the technical processes involved and the challenges encountered in different installation scenarios.

Additionally, the course emphasises the benefits of intelligent charge controllers, including saving time, cost, and complexity by eliminating the need for extensive R&D, system integration, and certification when appropriate controller hardware is selected. Attendees will also explore the advantages of dynamic load management, which supports operators in minimising grid loads and making maximum use of the existing infrastructure, avoiding the expense and delays involved with upgrading grid connections.

Lawrence Pullin, applications engineer at Bender UK, said: “We’ve developed this course for manufacturers, installers, and operators of EV charge stations. Although we can run the course online, we’d welcome visitors to our UK head office in Cumbria, where we can also demonstrate the technology in our new on-site EV charging facility.”
