Healthcare Maintenance
Service, repair and 24/7 technical support
It is a mandatory requirement within hospitals to periodically maintain equipment and electrical systems in accordance to standards including HTM 06-01: 2017 and BS7671:2018 wiring regulations.
Reliable and effectively maintained equipment reduces the risk of failure, loss of power and shutdown in Group 2 medical locations, ensuring a safe supply of power to medical equipment used to treat critical care patients.
As a major provider of healthcare maintenance services our expertise is in the field of Medical IT power systems (IPS), uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and theatre equipment including operating lights, surgical tables, trolleys and theatre control panels (TCP). We provide round the clock 24/7 service, technical support and rapid response call-out. With over 400 contracts with NHS trusts, private hospitals and facilities management companies, we have significant experience in the delivery of single to group-wide maintenance.
We offer a 5-year Bender parts warranty on newly installed Bender medical IT systems (IPS), if the equipment is covered by a Bender UK 12-month maintenance agreement, providing the equipment is maintained in the first 5 years from the date of commissioning.

Retrofitting
Does your hospital comply with current legislation?
Even with state-of-the-art electrical equipment, time can take its toll. Whether it is a decline in operational reliability, changes in statutory regulations or new technology improvements, estates managers have a duty of care to consider and review if the electrical infrastructure or medical equipment is reliable, compliant and fit for purpose.
If hospital systems are aging or failing more frequently, Bender will make recommendations for replacement of the asset, rather than uneconomical repair following a service visit. In addition to equipment repairs, general upgrades such as the incorporation of ATICS into a Medical IT system would bring significant benefits to the end user.
For a site survey or life cycle report, please contact the team to discuss your requirements in more detail.
